A fascinating new publication, "Milton Keynes, A Sustainable Future", has just been released.  Billed as 'a low carbon prospectus', the 30-page colourful document discusses the history of low- and zero-energy projects in the new city since the early 1970s, and presents ideas and opinions on how the learnings can be applied nationally.

Cutland Consulting's director, Dr Neil Cutland, was invited to contribute to the publication because of his longstanding involvement in many of the projects.  "When we were pioneering this stuff, in my case initially on the Energy Park in 1988, we knew that we were doing something with far bigger implications than just for Milton Keynes", said Neil.  "Yes, it's disappointing that things haven't moved on rather more quickly, but all of us are rejoicing that our experience has had such a significant impact on national policy and regulations over the years."

The publication was funded by Cutland Consulting's client the Zero Carbon Hub, the NHBC Foundation and Milton Keynes Council.  It is available as a free download from
http://www.zerocarbonhub.org/news_details.aspx?article=19, or in glossy hardcopy by phoning 01908 252009.
